Schauenburg Foundation honors best IHK graduates

On Monday, November 11, 2024, this year’s winners of the Schauenburg Foundation were honored. The Schauenburg Foundation, which is primarily dedicated to promoting young technical and business talent, honored nine graduates of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Essen, Mülheim an der Ruhr, Oberhausen zu Essen with its sponsorship award. The prize has been awarded to the best Mülheim graduates of the aforementioned Chamber of Industry and Commerce since 1990 – this year for the 35th time. The award winners completed the following training courses: Electronics technician for machines and drive technology, industrial mechanic, office management assistant, technical system planner and technical product designer.

In addition to the award winners, the training management was also invited to the award ceremony. The award ceremony took place in a festive setting at Schauenburg’s premises. In addition to Florian G. Schauenburg, who presented the prizes on behalf of the foundation, Markus Püll, Mayor of the city of Mülheim-Ruhr, Jutta Kruft-Lohrengel, President of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Essen, Mülheim an der Ruhr, Oberhausen zu Essen and Rainer Lüdtke, Head of the “Science and Environment” team at the German Foundation Center, congratulated all prize winners for their outstanding achievements. “With this award, we are recognizing the extraordinary achievements of these young people, because well-educated people are an important anchor in our society,” summarizes Florian G. Schauenburg, CEO of Schauenburg International.
